Field Staking & Observation

We put the design on the ground and keep the installation true to it.

06Phase 06 of 7

Design intent has to survive contact with the field. We GPS-stake every head, valve, and mainline route, update the CAD drawings to reflect as-staked conditions, and observe construction on-site as the system goes in.

This is where accuracy is protected — the difference between a system that matches its drawings and one that drifts from them.

What this phase delivers

  • GPS staking of every head, valve, and mainline route
  • As-staked CAD drawings updated to field conditions
  • Construction observation visits during installation
  • Field coordination with the installing contractor

Deliverables

  • GPS staking of all sprinklers & mainline (L-band RTCM correction)
  • “As-staked” CAD-built PDF drawings within 48 hours
  • Staking reports each visit — over/under cost status
  • Construction observation — typically 8–10 site visits

How we approach it

We stake components with GPS precision so the installed layout matches the engineered design, and we revise the CAD drawings to capture any field adjustments as they happen.

On-site observation keeps installation quality and design intent aligned through construction.

Who this is for

Projects in construction that need the design accurately staked and installation observed.
